Talks that stay with you
Karl Considine creates spaces where people feel seen, safe and inspired — bringing raw honesty, humour and real hope to conversations about sobriety, mental health, identity and belonging.
Karl Considine has spent the last decade turning lived experience into impact. After a career rising to HR Director level in corporate organisations, he left it all behind in 2023 - and hasn't looked back.
Sober since 2021, Karl is an Ambassador for Alcohol Change UK, a Board Member for Rainbow Mind, and the founder of multiple community-focused projects including Manchester's first alcohol-free pop-up bar. He was diagnosed with ADHD after getting sober - something he now speaks about openly as part of a broader conversation about addictoin, identity, neurodivergence and what it means to truly know yourself.
His talks don't feel like presentations. They feel like conversations - honest, warm, occasionally uncomfortable, and genuinely hard to forget. Whether he's on a panel, delivering a keynote, or running a workshop, Karl brings the same quality: the ability to make a room feel like it's okay to be human.
He's spoken on BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio 4, Sky News, and in The Times and The Guardian.
Clients include - Amazon, Pretty Little Thing, Latitude Festival, BooHoo Group and more…

What Karl speaks about
-
Creating genuine connection in a world built around alcohol. What inclusion really looks like when you take drinking out of the equation — and how to build cultures where everyone belongs.
-
Addiction, identity, and the long road to thriving. Karl's most personal talk — the one that tends to make rooms go quiet, then open up.
-
Lived experience lessons for inclusive workplaces and communities. Practical, personal, and designed to shift how organisations think about neurodivergence and LGBTQ+ wellbeing.
-
Rebuilding self-worth after change, adversity, or simply years of running on empty. An honest look at what it takes to back yourself — and why most of us find it so hard.
